Nagarkot: Of the possible resort destinations, Nagarkot (altitude 2,175 m) is by far the most popular. Located 30 Km east of Kathmandu, Nagarkot has developed into a favorite weekend getaway among those seeking mountain views in comfort and quiet. At sunrise, the Himalayan range, stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west all the way past Everest to Kanchenjunga in the east, emerges from the darkness to greet the happy visitor with its awe-inspiring majesty and beauty.

For a country known for its beautiful mountains, the Genetics flat lands of the Terai that stretches through out the southern part of Nepal provide a wholly different experience. A visit to Nepal remains incomplete without seeing the beauty of the Terai.

And Chitwan is the best place to do so. The Royal Chitwan National Park, established in 1973, provides a great wildlife experience with its rich flora and fauna . The wildlife and the landscape are not as breathtaking as those found in Africa but still, the experience will stand out.

Chitwan is only 150m above the sea level. The place gets steamy from March-June, with peak temperatures reaching 43°C in the shade. Short grass makes Feb-May the best game-viewing season, but the autumn months are gorgeous, with Himalayan views, and in winter(December-January), Chitwan is pleasantly warmed compared to Kathmandu. The monsoon season (July-August) is intense, with pounding rain, swollen rivers, and luxuriant vegetation. While the rain isn't constant, the humidity is all pervasive.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu.
Arrive Kathmandu. Meet assist at the airport and transfer to the hotel. O/N Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu.
AM : Half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City and Swayambhunath.
PM : Half day sightseeing tour of Patan City and Tibetan Refugee Camp. O/N Hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu/Nagarkot.
AM : Half day sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur.
PM : Transfer Kathmandu/Nagarkot. O/N Hotel.

Day 04: Nagarkot/Chitwan.
Pick up from Nagarkot and transfer to Chitwan by surface. O/N Jungle Lodge.

Day 05: Chitwan
Full day jungle activities. O/N Jungle Lodge.

Day 06: Chitwan/Kathmandu.
Transfer Chitwan/Kathmandu by surface. O/N Hotel.

Day 07: Kathmandu.
Free till departure. Transfer to the International airport to connect onward flight.
