Day 02: Kathmandu
It's an experience not to be missed - wake up in the early morning to witness the beautiful sunrise outlook from the hotel before breakfast serving. The next, we head for Kathmandu and keep half day valley sightseeing’s with Kathmandu Durbar Square, the place of the Malla and then the Shah Kings of Nepal, visiting Kumari Temple, house of the virgin goddess, visiting Swoyambhunath, a stupa on the top of hill - from here you can overlook the scenery of Kathmandu Valley and another half day visit Patan City. Day 03: Kathmandu
After breakfast, start the trip to visit Kathmandu Valley with its various important religious centers; Pashupatinath (Hindu Temple), nearby along the banks of the Bagmati River, where is the cremation area for the dead, Boudhanath is possibly the largest stupa in the world and the center for Tibetan school of Buddhism. Followed by driving onto Bhaktapur, the medical city of devotes and the best preserved of all the ancients cities of Kathmandu Valley. O/N at Hotel. (B/D)
Day 04: Kathmandu / Lhasa
Fly to Gongar airport and Drive to Lhsasa through the Yerlung Tsangpo and The Lhasa Kyichu River. O/N at Hotel. (B/D)
Day 05: Lhasa
Morning visit Potala palace, the seat of both religion and politics in Tibet. It was built in the 7th century by Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo and later renovated by the 5th Dalailama in the 17th century. Afternoon visit Sera monastery 5 kilometer north of Lhasa city, It was built in 1419 by Jamchen Choeji, a disciple of Tsongkhapa,the founder of the Gelugpa sect. Sera is one of the three major monasteries of yellow sect in Tibet. O/N at Hotel. (B/D)
Day 06: Lhasa
Morning visit Drepung monastery, which is the largest Monastery of the Gelugpa sect in Lhasa, which was built in 1416 by Jamyang chojie a disciple of Tsongkhapa. Afternoon visit Jokhang Tempale and Barkhor market, this is the holiest shrine in Tibet and houses of golden statue of the Shakyamuni Buddha which was brought to Tibet by the Chinese princess Wenchen. Day 07: Lhasa
Visit Norbulingkha, the summer palace of the Dalai Lamas, built in the 18th century. O/N hotel. (B/D)
Day 08: Lhasa / Kathmandu
Transfer to the airport from Lhasa city and fly back to Kathmandu. (B/D)
Day 09: Kathmandu
Visit to Patan city, famous city features of arts and crafts - the highlight of trip is the Shikara (Krishna Temple), Patan Durbar with Royal bath, Hiranya Varna Mahavir (Buddhist Monastery). O/N at Hotel. (B/D)
Day 10: Kathmadu / Paro - Thimpu
Arrival at Paro airport, you are met by your guide and driven to Thimpu, 2.5 hrs. Check in hotel and after refreshment, stroll in the township. (B/L/D)
Day 11: At Thimpu
Explore the fascinatingly colorful town of Thimphu . You will visit the Arts and Crafts school, Traditional Medicine Institute, King Jigme Doreje Memorial Chorten, traditional paper factory, Botanical Garden where you can watch yak and the National animal of Bhutan-Takin. In the afternoon, you will explore downtown Thimphu on foot and will visit Handicrafts Emporium. If you are in Thimpu on week-end days, do not miss week-end market. (B/L/D)
Day 12: Thimpu to Paro
Early morning, drive back to Paro and embark on sightseeing tour. Visit 200 year old Watch Tower (Ta Dzong), the ruins of historical Drugyel Dzong, Drugyel High School and Kyichu Lhakhang, the oldest monastery in the valley built in 7th century. After lunch we drive up-to Chelila Pass (Alt. 12,402 ft.) to view the spectacular scenery of Mt. Jumolhari as well as Haa and Paro Valley. (B/L/D)
Day 13: Paro
Full day hiking tour to Takshang Monsatrey and visit Paro city. O/N Paro. (B/L/D)
Day 14: Paro/Puntsholing
Drive to Puntsholing (6-7 hours drive) – 197 kms drive. O/N Puntsholing. (B/L/D)
Day 15: Puntsholing/Ganthok
Full day drive to Ganthok, capital of Sikkim. (Drive 8 hours – 400 kms). (B/L/D)
Day 16: Ganthok
Full day Ganthok sightseeing, O/N Ganthok. (B/L/D)
DAY 17: GANGTOK - PEMAYANGTSE
Transfer to Pemayangtse ( 135 kms / 05 hrs ).Check in at Hotel.Evening visit to Pemayangtse Monastery.Overnight at Hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 18: PEMAYANGTSE - YUKSOM
Transfer to Yuksom on way visit Khecheopari Lake , Khecheopalri Lake is one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lake wherever it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. Myth has its that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface is picked by a bird. A further drive takes you to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks)- the first capital of Sikkim . This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim ) was crowned. . Overnight at Hotel (B/L/D)
Day 19 YUKSOM - KALIMPONG
Transfer to Kalimpong. ( 115 kms / 04 hrs ). Check in at Hotel. Evening free to explore the small hilly town on your own. Overnight at Hotel. (B/L/D)
Day20: KALIMPONG – BHADRAPUR – Kathmandu.
Drive 250 kms to Bhadrapur and fly back from Bhadrapur to Kathmandu. Uppon arrival in Kathmandu airport meet by us and transfer to Hotel. (B//D)
Day 21: Kathmandu
Full day free, leisure on your own. O/N hotel. (B/D)
Day 22: Departure
Transfer to airport for your fly to next destination or fly back to Kathmandu. (B)
