PASSPORT
A traveler should bring with him a passport with validity remaining no less than six months. Make sure that it has plenty of blank pages for visas, entry and re-entry stamps and extensions. Loosing passport in Tibet will be very difficult, as you have to go to Beijing to get
new one.
VISA-TRAVEL PERMIT
A traveler to Tibet needs to obtain a special groups visa/ permit. The visa processing is initiated only after you book a trip with us.
Original passport has to be submitted while applying for visa/ permit at the Chinese Embassy in Nepal or abroad. We are eligible to process your visa/ permit even in Kathmandu before your arrival. A Tibet-bound traveler requires to pay visa fee according to varying nationalities.
RESERVATION, DEPOSIT & MODE OF PAYMENT
Deposit should arrive at least 60 days in advance to confirm your tour with us. For Tibet trip you need to transfer US$ 300 per person as deposit via bank transfer to our bank account.
FINAL PAYMENT
After you deposit the amount of US$ 300 per person the rest payment must be made upon arrival in Kathmandu before your trip begins. The company accepts cash US$, Euro or any other convertible currencies. Wealso accept final payment by a major credit card-visa, Master card.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
Travelers to Tibet are required to be physically fit enough to travel & his/her blood pressure & heart condition should be normal. This is a necessary requirement because of the possible effects that the very high altitude may have on certain people.

May to Sept is the best time for visit, though there can be landslides but can be overcome.

CLIMATE
The climate in Tibet can be extreme varying from 25ºC. in the day time to 5ºC to 10ºC. at night. Winds blow at a speed of 50-60km. per hour.
Clothing Accessories:
From Oct. - March warm clothes are required to fight the frosty cold and from April-September light clothes to shun the scorching heat. However, a jacket and sweater are advised throughout the years as the weather may unexpectedly changes at any time.
The recommended items are: A domestic first aid kit, water purification tablets (mineral water can be bought as well) toilet and tissue papers, flashlight, sleeping bag, comfortable walking shoes, dust masks, utility knife, sun hat, sun glasses, suntan lotion and a limited number of clothes. From May to September, we advise you to carry light clothes such as T-shirts and Jeans. However, from October to April, warm clothes are advisable. Please bring the following clothes and accessories:
